About the Role
Canon U.S.A., Inc., a respected leader in the Imaging and Office Equipment industry, has an opportunity in Melville, NY to support the ISG (Imaging Solutions Group) promotions. The Account Relations Representative provides promotional expense management for a group of accounts. The day to day management of these accounts consists of creating urgent, time sensitive pricing agreements ensuring correct pricing, validating and issuing promotional credits, managing and reconciling sales budgets/funds. This position communicates daily with sales, sales support, credit, CITS (Canon Information and Technology Services) and other internal and external entities.
If you have advanced Excel experience providing sales support, this may be the job for you! The successful candidate will proactively identify credit issues, request supporting documentation, resolve issues and more.
This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday Tuesday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
Your Impact
Responsible for executing client-driven initiatives and ensuring operational excellence to maximize client satisfaction and growth within the Wholesale and Retail sales channels.
The Account Relations Representative II role requires the management of all aspects of assigned accounts, including:
- Entering and maintaining Account Promotional Funds (APFs)
- Tracking and managing budgets
- Reconciling sales funds and budgets
- Validating claims and supporting documentation
- Researching and resolving chargebacks
- Meeting with Sales, Product, and Credit teams
- Communicating with Dealers/Partners and internal Sales teams
- Issuing credits
- Managing the overall financial and operational activities associated with assigned accounts

In accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated annual rate for this role: $19.46 - 29.13 an hour
- Typically requires general education and/or vocational training plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
- May require some travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
- May require working weekends and evenings for events.
